Our client is the premier provider of white glove PEO services (HR, Payroll, and Benefits) for the world's leading alternative investment funds and their portfolio companies. They are growing and are looking for a Business Development Senior to help them expand their Private Equity & Venture Capital portfolio.
As a Business Development Senior, you will be responsible for identifying and qualifying private equity firm leads, securing warm introductions to their portfolio companies, building relationships with prospects, and presenting the value proposition of the company's PEO services. The ideal candidate has a strong passion for sales, an active network within the private equity community, a proven track record of success, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Identify and qualify PE leads across the country through a variety of channels, including cold calling, conferences, industry associations, email marketing, and social media outreach.
- Build relationships with prospects by developing rapport, understanding their needs, and positioning the company as the best solution for them.
- Present the value proposition of the company's PEO services to prospects and persuade them to provide a warm referral to their portfolio companies.
- Track and report on performance metrics, such as the number of leads generated, the number of deals closed, and the overall success rate.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including the use of the CRM system and compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
Experience:
- Minimum two years of intangible services sales experience focused on private equity firms required
- Basic knowledge of private equity
- Knowledge of health insurance, HR technology and HR compliance
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, conveying information with confidence and clarity
- Proficient in MS Office Suite
- Excellent organization and time management skills
